Memory Care
At Cascade Valley Assisted Living, we understand the unique situation of those who suffer from memory loss. All our nurses are trained and experienced to create a comfortable environment that includes simple routines and visual cues as a positive substitute for diminishing mental processes.
Our memory care programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of residents with memory impairments. There is no one-size-fits-all formula when it comes to Dementia and Alzheimer’s care. Needs change at different stages of the disease and each family’s situation is unique. Our team, with the support of our mental health partners, evaluates each individual and develops a tailored care plan specific to their needs.
Alzheimer’s Care
Each of our nurses is trained and experienced to create a comfortable environment that includes simple routines and visual cues as a positive substitute for diminishing mental processes.
Dementia Care
Dementia is, most often, a gradual deterioration of mental functioning. This deterioration affects concentration, memory, and judgment, and, in turn, affects one’s ability to perform daily activities.
