Assisted & Independent Living
Our senior housing communities provide and/or arrange for a combination of assistance based on your individual needs and wishes. We understand you prefer to do most of your living on your own, so we are available to you immediately in an emergency or as scheduled as you want us.
Assisted Living is designed for those who are no longer able to live independently but are capable of enjoying many activities with some daily assistance. Residents benefit from personal care and health services according to individual needs. Rooms come with intercom and emergency systems in the event the resident needs a nurse or attendant’s assistance. With support services, residents can maintain maximum independence in a safe environment.
Independent Living is designed to encourage seniors to live their retirement years as actively and independently as possible. The independent living lifestyle offers residents a safe living environment with minimal assistance. Laundry, bathing, and helping with errands are all available as needed. Independent Living is a great option for those that want to live on their own, but also want to be part of a senior community with the added security of 24 hour assistance.
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) are basic self-care tasks of everyday life, such as eating, bathing, dressing, and mobility.
Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) are a series of life functions necessary for maintaining a person’s immediate environment, such as cooking, laundry, and managing medications.
